Our Birdsong - Ruth Thomas

poem read by Timothy Arliss OBrien

Our Birdsong
Ruth Thomas

We walked like sparrows in the snow,

fragile &

leaving only wisps of proof

that we had ever been there.

The world, too frosty for us,

we would be gone by morning.

But, isn’t our birdsong

so divine?
